Connect a repository and get automatic product reviews on your pull requests.
1 · Connect your repository
Create your organization
Sign in and create an organization.
Connect GitHub
Install Foreloop for the repositories you want reviewed, then select a repository on Home.
2 · Open a PR as usual
Foreloop reviews ordinary pull requests against the project’s understanding and affected canonical stories. You do not need an intention, a Foreloop branch group, the CLI, or the feedback widget.
The GitHub check and summary show a score out of 5 with actionable P0, P1, and P2 findings. Non-behavioral changes can receive “Not a product change” without a score. Deliberate capability removal is assessed as a product change and is not penalized merely for removing functionality. Insufficient evidence leaves a review unscored.
3 · Fix and retest
Push changes or have a repository writer comment @foreloop retest. Results appear on Home and on GitHub. Checks are advisory by default; an organization owner or admin can opt into a failure threshold. “Not a product change” remains neutral.
Foreloop tracks the PR through merge. For intention-linked PRs, the reviewed deliverables inform delivery status. Source review does not establish runtime verification or deployment.
Optional: stories and intentions
Review the proposed stories to improve Foreloop’s product context. An intention adds an agreed purpose and editable deliverables when you need more clarity. Group selected deliverables and copy the brief into your usual coding tool.
Link the PR using Foreloop-Intention: YOUR-REF in its description, Link PR in the intention, or @foreloop link YOUR-REF. Keep the brief’s task reference to select a subset of deliverables. Only that subset is promised for this PR.
Optional agent and feedback integration
The CLI and MCP let agents read and update Foreloop. The feedback widget collects requests that can become intentions. These integrations are optional; see Working with agents and Feedback widget for setup.
